Angry Ape: Ashley Tisdale has admitted that she occasionally channels into her evil HSM character Sharpay, in order to cope with a bad situation.

The singer and actress says that in a bid to avoid being upset by peoples comments, it’s often best to think as Sharpay would, and by believing that you’re the best – you’re able to shrug off negative remarks.

“I wore a skirt that was shredded – it was adorable. And then someone said something about me, like I’d had a sex change or something,” she told Shout, about being voted worst dressed.

“But I kind of look at it like Sharpay would – she’d just go there and think she was the best, even if other people didn’t. It doesn’t matter – especially if I’m happy in it.”
