It’s a super power but it’s not as impressive as say, having amazing strength or being able to stop time… However, this is in fact Dazzler’s power, one of the characters to appear in the next X-Men movie. It seems that Ashley Tisdale may just play the role of Dazzler.

Also, a few days ago Ashley went blonde again, and said on Twitter that she changed over because of a new role she was planning to play. This is interesting because Dazzler has long blonde hair, just like Ashley…

Angry Ape: Ashley Tisdale has admitted that she occasionally channels into her evil HSM character Sharpay, in order to cope with a bad situation.

The singer and actress says that in a bid to avoid being upset by peoples comments, it’s often best to think as Sharpay would, and by believing that you’re the best – you’re able to shrug off negative remarks.

“I wore a skirt that was shredded – it was adorable. And then someone said something about me, like I’d had a sex change or something,” she told Shout, about being voted worst dressed.

“But I kind of look at it like Sharpay would – she’d just go there and think she was the best, even if other people didn’t. It doesn’t matter – especially if I’m happy in it.”

Bang Showbiz: Ashley Tisdale says the biggest role model in her life is her mother Lisa Tisdale who she admires for her work ethic.

The ‘High School Musical’ actress doesn’t have any interest in emulating her favourite actors, but would love to follow in her mother Lisa Tisdale’s footsteps.

She said: “My mom is very confident and she was always a role model of mine. I never really looked up to celebrities when I was young.”

Actress-and-singer Ashley also revealed she has inherited her mother’s work ethic and fighting spirit.

The 24-year-old star explained: “I definitely work hard at stuff. I never give up on things. If I’m going to do something, I’m going to go a hundred per cent into it – just like my mom.”

Ashley recently revealed she knew she wanted to be famous from an early age.

She said: “I grew up in the business since I was three years old so I’ve always kind of been in front of the camera and grew up in commercials and I knew that I wanted to do it no matter what, I just loved it.”
